And I read this how?!  Why plaster ebay all over something?  I know I'm on ebay!!!!!  I don't need to be told 20 times!

Very likely Ebays latest sledgehammer advertising attempt at subliminal messaging .

Probably gonna start paying the posties to say "look into my eyes, not around the eyes" whilst whispering "Simple Delivery" at us the next time they deliver a package and project the words "Free to Sell" on the surface of the moon in a last ditch attempt to pull in the trade..

I wish this was a joke but considering everything else they have done recently i wouldn't rule it out..

😂And another thing:

I looked at a purchase I'd just received, and I went to check the listing so I could purchase the correct type out of the sample of three I had just received.  When I went to the listing it said the seller had changed it and offered me a link to see the original listing.  What you see above is apparently the original listing but it looks nothing like an ebay listing and at the bottom it says it's formatted for printing and at no point did I say I wanted to print it what on Earth is ebay playing at?!

I like the way "ebay" is in white print, over the top of white print, to make things harder to read. What attention to detail, ebay!

It's typical of ebay adding more features instead of perfecting the existing ones

I detest all copyright marks, I deliberately avoid sellers who "copyright" their pictures.  It's just a picture of an object you're selling!  Who cares if people copy it?  It's convenient not to have to take the same photo again!  Don't be mean, help other sellers!

It's a pity we don't have the ability to downvote posts because you deserve one for that comment - when I view a listing, I want to see a photograph of the actual item for sale, not somebody elses similar item.  This is especially the case when looking at items which are not brand new, which makes up a high proportion of what is on offer on ebay.

I also hate business sellers using generic pictures - too often they bear no relation to the appearance of what will be supplied.

You can't stop anyone finding an unmarked picture online.  If it's a new or as new item, I always do this, why take a picture when a better quality image already exists?  If it's used then I take a picture of the actual item with scratches.

A high proportion?  I buy 95% new stuff and 5% used.  Small items, the postage is the main cost, so no point in buying used.

When I've bought 2nd hand graphics cards, do you really think I need a picture of the actual item?  I just care if it works, and that isn't shown in a picture.

Anyway the point is putting a watermark on your photo isn't going to stop others just getting it from the manufacturer's website!  So I stand by my "I don't buy from watermarkers" policy.
