I purchased a motorhome / camper van for almost £8000 the seller said in the advert it would be an easy fix
Gave me a lot of sob stories about needing a camper so purchased another one hence now needing to sell this one, OK as it would be an easy fix I agreed to buy it and paid a further £300 to get it home, I was a mechanic for 25 years so went through all I could do at home to no avail , It still would not start , I then booked it into a local garage who said it would be a as and when job as they have big council contract with school mini bus fleet that need servicing every 6 weeks , Some time later they contacted me with the news that they did a compression test and the results were very low to no compression, Off came the head to reveal a destroyed engine , A pre combustion chamber had fallen out of the head and basically smashed everything , Head , valves, piston, and damaged the block so the " Easy fix " was a blown up engine, I have tried contacting the seller and he is hiding / not responding , Where do I go now ? any ideas , The advert turns out to be very misleading.

Only fix is a new/second hand engine.
Do a search online.
