How are eBay Commerce U.K. Ltd and PayPal linked?

I bought an item on eBay and I was debited by eBay Commerce U.K. Ltd . never recovered acknowledgement of the order. The item does not appear in my purchase history?

Did you buy the item as a guest ?

I placed an order on 20/01/24as a guest . I did not receive acknowledgement of the order. Their is no record in my eBay of the order. The Nanak informed me that my account had been debited by the order cost. Checking with my PayPal account the record shows the seller was eBay Commerce U.K. Ltd.

the only explanation I think is that eBay.Commrce did not place the order with the seller.

However, trying to contact eBay Commerce to resolve this is appears impossible!

Buyers now pay eBay who then pay the seller.

It makes a huge difference if ordering as a guest as it obviously wont show in this account that you are posting from.
