False advertising

What happens if the purchase was back in November? I bought a tv that was advertised as a pro version but I just found out it's the standard version, I'm quite sure it arrived in a box marked 'PRO' (I no longer have the original box as it was way too big to have taking up space) but just recently had cause to check the label on the back of the TV (had trouble accessing some of the PRO features) and it's clearly a standard version, even has less ports than the PRO version! what can I do as this was clearly a case of false advertising?

You could try a charge back from your bank, but you are probably out of time. You could threaten small claims court, but it costs a fee to initiate.

Have you been in touch with the retailer? What have they said. You don't need a box, you have the details on the listing in your purchased items list.  You could ask for a partial refund.full refund and return are probably not going to happen.

Unfortunately it will probably be lesson learned i'm afraid, but not all sellers set out to rip you off and you might get lucky.
