Cracked Stone Finial

Hi all

I purchased two stone ball finials in October last year, at the time of their arrival they appeared in good condition with no noticeable cracks.
I wasn't able to mount them over the winter due to work/weather etc and when I went to mount them last weekend noticed that one of the finials had a crack running all the way through it.
I've contacted the seller who were initially replied to my first email but have since ghosted me, any ideas?

You cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt.  If they are not,  a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy,  to return the item for a full refund.

You are too late to claim a refund from eBay,  and unfortunately too late also to try your payment provider, as most offer a 120 day buyer protection policy.

If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this,  then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps,  if you wish to take this further.

Sorry dave@ebay   the poster wrote their question on the wrong board,  but they still deserved an answer, no?

My bad , not to notice myself it was the wrong board and to be fair , all questions are posted on one page for me , so I just answer a query , not checking if it was in the right place.  🤔

Its an easy mistake, the only reason I even called it out was because I spent ages yesterday moving loads posts out of there 🤣.

I never noticed it was posted on the wrong board, and to be fair someone even being able to find this forum with the faint link at the bottom of eBay pages,  deserves an award and I'm sure will be baffled that it matters to post a question on the right board. 

Most come the once and wish a question answered, then it's adios,  and thank you!

The title in my humble opinion doesn't lend itself totally,  to its purpose! 🤔

Sorry just to edit and add , have their been any posts  for this new board?  Haven't checked recently.
