Cost per Unit

I recently purchased an item that stated

£4.23
(£0.42 / Unit)
I assumed it contained ten items, and as such was reasonably priced compared to what could be bought on other platforms. I bought it and received only one item. I complained and the vendor stated they had no control over the cost per unit. I wanted to raise this with eBay but could find no sensible route to do so.

Does anyone have any advice? Many thanks in advance.

Cost per Unit

If the seller described the quantity incorrectly you can send it back for a refund.   So start a return on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041
select "Item doesn't match description" and if necessary escalate it to eBay after 3 complete working days.
