Click and Collect

Anyone know why ebay is still offering Jet petrol stations on Click and Collect? They don't accept parcels anymore. Always used argos previously without any problems. Jet refused to accept delivery so evri dumped parcel at house next door to petrol station. Getting difficult to trust ebay at the moment. Hot mess. Anyone else had same issues?

I've had a similar issue with a delivery being rejected at a click and collect point, but not at a Jet petrol station. How did you know the parcel had been dumped at the house next to the petrol station? My tracking details say its been returned to the seller at the moment but now I am concerned my parcel might have been dumped somewhere by Evri!

Evri sent a photo of a random front door, was a wild guess that it might be next door to collection point. Sounds like yours is returned though if that what it says on tracking. Had always used click and collect to avoid these problems, pretty pointless now.

It looks like at the moment your package is on the way back to the seller so they should either be able to refund you once they get it back or arrange to send it out again. Can you let me know the click and collect store point you used that didn't accept and we can feed it back to our shipping team.

The jet petrol station was on Burncross road, Chapeltown,Sheffield. I thought it was just a matter of a problem with staff training so i asked at the jet station on Penistone Rd (next nearest) who said they used to but no longer accept them.

Hi Kat

The store was Asda Express, Sheepcote Lane, WD25 7LW. They refused the parcel because apparently they aren't an ebay collection point anymore. The item has been returned to the seller but now we are stuck - it's neither my fault nor the sellers that the item was refused by the collection point, but one of us is going to end up out of pocket for the cost of sending the item again, it's not right and I don't know how to resolve the issue - I opened a case with ebay and it only gives the choices to update the tracking or refund the whole amount, neither of which are going to reimburse either me or the seller for the cost of postage. Any help would be appreciated.
