Chairs Recalled but I Cannot Message Seller

Hi I bought 4 plastic chairs from a seller in November 2024. I have received an email from Ebay to say that the products have been recalled as not fire safe and not to use them. I have tried to message the seller as it says in the email, but the messages are not sending and all I get is a small blue circle with a white exclamation mark inside it. How can I move this on to be able to contact someone? (I have just spent an hour going roundin cirlces with chat-bots and self help buttons, to no avail!

eBay will not release any member's personal contact details.

eBay will pass on recall notices to buyers, but only for information; any responsibility will rest with the seller or manufacturer.

The recall notice should tell buyers what action to take. 

If it instructed you to return it to the seller you could try reporting your experience to the manufacturer. If you still have proof of purchase they might still refund you.

If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee  for items to be fit for purpose, and is now not upholding this,  then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps,  if you wish to take this further.

Hi thanks for your reply.  I didn't want the contatc details of the seller, only to message them as  was advised in the email from ebay. I have copied the body of the email here:

I just don't know why I can't contact the seller?

Did you then follow the instructions under 'Action'
