Buyer protection from disruptive sellers or scammers

Recently I have purchased furniture and on both situations I have had to fight hard to get my money back. As per normal you are the winning bidder and you contact the seller, you receive no contact back, after three days of trying I will request a refund. After waiting another three days as per eBay rules the refund declines! still no contact from the seller and as time goes on,  your project for the item is held up and the process continues. This needs to be corrected, how can an irate customer be expected to still go pickup an item from someone who ignores you and your communication. eBay need to change the refund rules that if no contact is received from the seller within three days, then the buyer can select a refund. Both parties can submit evidence if there are any discrepancies. In total this year, I have had three occasions and am going through it again now......

The usual way to deal with getting a refund is to open a case for item not received and if the seller doesn't have a collection code from the buyer, the buyer gets a refund.

I don't know what you are doing, but Ebay won't change this system because it works, albeit perhaps inconveniently for some.

All a buyer needs to do is - after 7 full days open a not received case and if necessary escalate it to eBay on day 4 for a refund.
