That seems fair, buy 2 and get one free.
But I just want one which is an option so I bought it.
Message from seller that I have to buy 2 more or get a refund !
Refund please.
So bought one from different seller.
Same message again buy 2 more or get a refund !
The ebay page allows me to buy one so why arent they honouring that ?
I can only guess they dont make money on 1.
Luckily I found my lost glasses so didnt need either in the end.

oooh sorry if it was the incorrect response, but your post did make me " laugh out loud"" and much needed after a very long day - thank you - I once found my glasses after searching for over an hour... happened to pass by a mirror and lo and behold, they were perched on top of my head 😂 I am so very thankful for mirrors 😎
In any case wouldn't buy 2 get one free be 3 - yet the seller is saying you had to buy 2 more even though you purchased 1... and that would be 4? Or is my math not mathing?
Edit -spelling...

At a guess they have either priced their offer so buying 2 covers the postage costs and it’s where they make their margin and buying 1 would incur a loss.
or they are dropshipping from elsewhere and the offer there is buy 2 get 1 free.
either way they clearly don’t understand how this works (why not just create a listing of a bundle of 3 at a price?)
I would assume a high pre fulfilment cancellation will eventually catch up with them.just leave suitable negative feedback.

For multi buy offers you have to select the number you will get, but you only pay the offer price.
In this case you select 3 but are charged for 2, and they send you 3.
A common error buyers make is to select 2, thinking there will be a free extra one in the box, but they just get 2.
