Bought book from US Seller but parcel tracking is not moving

Bought a book from US seller.   Total cost of the book was around £49 including postage.

The book travelled through and arrived in UK it seems from the tracking.

But last movement in the tracking says "arrived in customs", and that was last week sometime.

It stopped there and shows no further progress.

When checked with RM tracking with the RM tracking number given, it says "

Item Received

Heathrow Worldwide DC"

and with the note "Sorry, your item went to Heathrow Worldwide DC in error, so we re-routed it immediately. More information will be available as it travels through our network."

What does this mean, and how many more days would it be for the book to arrive?

Obviously there's going to be a delay.   No one can say for sure how long but bear in mind you have 30 days from the original estimated delivery date to start a "not received" case with ebay to get a refund.   But it sounds like it is on its way and hopefully will be with you shortly.
