winning bidder i.d. is different to the i.d shown on feedback left by seller for the buyer

I was out bid on an item and on the bid list the winners id was shown

I have checked the sellers feedback left for the purchaser and the i.d  is different??????

you can't see a bidders full ID you only ever see a disguised version

so there is no way of knowing that the ID is different

They may have changed their ID but only the buyer can leave feedback. How do you know the ID is different only the seller can see that.

There is another possibility, seller made a Seconf Chance Offer and sold to the under bidder.

Without seeing the item it can  only be guesswork.

the other bidders IDs would be masked by eBay so you could not know the real ID.
