why can ebay have a system whereby ebay confirms dob of buyer

dob should be kept in ebay particulars of member buying goods some people like myself dont have smartphone, and yet when message is sent to seller, they dont seem to take any notice of confirmation of dob by email its so frustrating

I assume you are buying vape items.

Seller has to prove buyers are 18+ to sell these items, it applies to all sites, not just ebay.

I believe there is a verification website where you register once & all sellers will accept it,

ask seller.
