unable to complete transaction

I have tried, unsuccesfully, to purchase an item but when I press Pay Now a message appears: ` The seller only allows buyers to purchase 1 item every 10 days`.  I`ve contacted the seller who is unaware this appears and who contacted ebay who say thay can`t find a problem, so I contacted them via chat live and had a wasted 30 minutes.  My account has sufficient funds, and have purchased items since without problem. Any help greatly appreciated.

Your seller has inadvertently set their site preferences to reflect this,  so it is they who need to now go to Account tab >>  Shortcuts >>  Site Preferences >>  Buyer Requirements,  and there to scroll down the page to where it says allow buyers to buy 1 item in ten days.  They need to amend this.

It is in place for sellers who do not wish buyers to be malicious,  buying a multitude of items,  then leaving negative feedback,  and thrashing a seller's account.
