I bought an item without checking the length of time given for postage. Turns out postage was stipulated at 3 months. So impossible to receive the item and leave feedback.
Why does eBay allow this practice?
Here is an item from a seller that uses this method. Today 2nd June 2020 the postage shows delivery between 8 July - 2nd Sept 2020. It is impossible to create a resolution centre issue until 2nd September 2020 in this case. That is 3 months from date of sale.
More correctly why does anyone buy? Ebay allow various postage times, but why anything should take that long to my mind means it is deliberate to avoid bad feedback and make it more likely that buyers don't open Not received cases.
Just looked dispatch time maximum shown is 30 days, even so another 30 days for delivery is I am sure unnecessary.
eBay don't allow that. Items must be in stock or available within 30 days if pre-orders.
Why would you buy an item that has a 3 month delivery period?
Surely that indicates that something isn't right?
