ntlshould I sent back a worngly sent item beofore recieving a refund from the seller?

I recently purchased "XL Waterproof Backed Travel Picnic Rug

Outdoor Camping 300 x 220cm Blanket" with the option of

choosing the colour - I choose BLUE checkered.blanket.

What I recieved was a horrible GREEN checkered blanket.

eBay are telling me to return the item before I'll get a refund !!!

This has never happened before - in the past when there has

been a problem with what I have recieved I have received the

refund first and then returned the item.

Any suggestions on what I should do will be gratefully recieved,

You open a case for item not as described, Ebay will provide a prepaid return label, which is tracked, seller should refund within a few days, 3 I think. If you havent received it within 8 days, Ebay will step in and do it. You do not get the refund first. How many buyers would fail to return the item if they had already been refunded?

Also, you should not be posting your personal details here, you are asking for phishing e-mails. Advice on these forums should always be given on them.
