Hi, after asking a seller for the combined price for the same item ( stylus pen) they them increase the price by £2 per pen, i dont think this is fair.
Just Query it with the Seller. Ebay cannot intervene.
If the seller has increased the asking price as a result of you enquiring about a combined postage discount then try and find the same item from another seller. The whole point of securing a combined postage discount is so that you can order more than one item from the same seller without incurring additional postage costs in relation to the items purchased - therefore, if the seller has increased the asking price this will, in effect, make any combined postage discount worthless, as he's just increased the overall cost of the item to compensate for the amount lost in postage costs if he were to give you a combined postage discount. Having taken that into consideration, would you really want to enter into a transaction with this seller? If something went wrong further down the line and you needed to open a case in relation to the transaction then you may well end up regretting ever getting involved with this seller in the first place. Therefore, I'd advise you to purchase the same item from a different seller who isn't charging as much for the item as this seller, especially if you can find another seller of this item who would be willing to offer you a combined postage discount so as to save you some money on the postage costs.
I don't understand why you're complaining about a price increase. It's none of your (or Ebay's) business. Sellers can choose to charge whatever they like, just as you can choose which sellers to shop with.
