i bought item from london,and they want me to send it back abroad at my cost

i bought an item on ebay a few days ago from london.the item did not fit my chainsaw,and on this site it did not say that it would not.it said it was a sharpnerer for chainsaws.after getting in touch to return it the seller sent a return address for new south wales austrailia,which would cost more than i paid.this cannot be right,i have tried to contact ebay,who are useless and no help at all,so this means i will be loseing almost 13 pounds for somethink i cannot use.thanks to anyone who can help
