You can't delete purchases!! All you can do is ask the seller to cancel the sales, but they don't have to do this, they are more likely to open Unpaid cases.

Two unpaid strikes and you are going to find that many sellers will have blocked you from buying/bidding.

Ebay have to store your purchase history for the whole of the current year, and the whole of the previous 2 years. That is why you cannot delete your orders.

If you do not want your purchase history to show up then just select the option to hide each order and they should disappear off of the page.  However, items that you have purchased remain on your purchase history for two years.  Therefore, if you were to go back to your Purchase History and search everything you've purchased the earliest available date would currently be Monday 1st January 2018.  The search results will stay that way until next year, when on Friday 1st January 2021 the earliest available date that you would be able to search back to on your Purchase History would be Tuesday 1st January 2019.  Therefore, items don't stay on your Purchase History indefinitely, but they will remain there for a few years.  Therefore the only option currently available to you if you do not want to see the items that you have bought in the past would be to individually pull up the More Transactions drop-down menu next to every item on your Purchase History and select "Hide Order" from the list of options.
