eBay search goes to .com site from .co.uk using search, on 3 machines and 2 accounts - what's up?

I am a UK registered eBayer since 2004. Today - everytime I search the catorgories - it directs the output to the .com USA site and asks to log in again on that site. I can still just about get access to the UK site by changing .com to .co.uk in the address bar - and then it works for a while. But if I search another catagory using search bar it goes to .com again. The support  chat I contacted in USA didnt  understand  my issue - just say clear cache and change settings to UK in my account address. That is not the issue  1) the caches have all been cleared on 3 PCs and 2) this occurs on two accounts both registered in UK and are set up correctly as UK adress. My worry is - Is it a tempory issue - was ok yesterday and past 17 years- the whole catagory cars motorcycles and vehicles  search fails with a "not found error" unless I edit the address bar to .co.uk ( remember I signed in correctly in UK on the .co.uk site ) then it redirects correctly for a short time. Its getting very tiresome having to edit the web address bar every search I do  so that the search sends me to the UK site and not .com USA . Any ideas, could this be a DNS issue, browser issue or my fault in any way  OR is it the eBay web site ? Thx

I’m getting the same problem from today. Somethings up with U.K. eBay I think as my U.K. category saved searches doing work.

Thank you for letting me know that you are also seeing an issue on the UK site. Hopefully eBay will rectify it very quickly.

I too an having same problems, I use the antiques and jewellery sites to buy from and every time it takes me to .com, have tried clearing cache / cookies checked for viruses etc, probably the same reason my sales of jewellery were the worst ever this weekend

Yesterday was Friday, Ebay's maintenance day.  Weird glitches happen.  As it's now Saturday, everything should be back to normal.
