Unable to leave feedback

I am not able to leave positive feedback on an item I recently bought.

When I click on the button to leave feedback I get an error message saying

"This transaction is no longer eligible for Feedback. You can try leaving Feedback for other transactions."

even though the shipping information states
"Tracking shows this item was delivered on Wed, 03 Jun.

Estimated delivery date: Mon, 15 Jun"
(I had the item in my hand on the 2nd - AM-AZ-ING!)

I have tried clearing browser data but nothing. I'm still not allowed to leave feedback.

What to do?

Has the item been removed?  If it was ,  then you will not be able to leave feedback for it.

If not,   try a different avenue to leave it.

Click on your feedback score,  then go up to the link feedback forum,  to the right you will see ...  Leave Feedback,   see if that works.

In my summary it reads

"Buying reminders
Awaiting Feedback (1)"

and under the item
"We removed this listing from the site."

also
"Feedback needed" and "Feedback recieved"

... I don't understand why the item was removed and why I'm not able to rate the transaction.

Aaah there's your answer. If the listing was removed, then you cannot leave feedback.

Items are removed for all sorts of reasons, a breach of a selling reg / policy, being listed on a compromised account, or the item broke a Vero reg, link for this at bottom of most pages to understand their policies.

Feedback is entirely voluntary, just ignore those emails from eBay ' to leave feedback' you most certainly do not have to, for any transaction.

I understand that leaving feedback is on a voluntary basis and this seller showed excellent handling so I would really like to show my appreciation (four working days from purchase to have the package dropped off is really good).

I talked to support and they tell me to wait:
"we are currently conducting a review on the seller's account"

Mmmm, if an item has been removed it is not done lightly, however, all you can do is to keep an eye if that seller does reappear, if you remember their username ID I can explain how to seek them out, and at least you can message them your appreciation for that transaction.
