the seller has stopped me bidding on item when i asked about his £8 postage being veryhigh
Pot & kettle come to mind,
your own DSR for P&P shows that buyers think your postage is too high.
The Seller is Posting with Royal Mail Special Delivery to cover themselves against Loss or Damage in the Post. It is also best for the Buyer as they then safely end up with the Item they Paid for.
sellers can block bids from whomever they like
sellers don't like it when you question their P&P so they block you
Most sellers would. They don't want to end up with buyers who might leave them a neg or low stars.
packaging an 8x10 photo is expensive and the seller probably looked at the feedback you received.
Nothing to do with your question, just a suggestion.
Maybe you're only seeing your pics on a mobile, where they will look fine. But do you realise that when viewed on a PC screen they're all blurred?
You don't need a top spec camera, or even high resolution, just one with a macro function. Treat yourself to a Christmas pressy, even an older, second-hand model will do fine for eBay. You can pick them up for next to nothing.
if you don't like the postage price find another seller.
