As you've provided no information, all I can advise is that you read Ebay's 30-day Money Back Guarantee to see if it applies to your purchase.  You'll find links to it on every listing, in various other places across the site, and on your order confirmation.

and I want to return it because it's broken, I understand the return guarantee but it is broken and the seller has a 1 year guarantee

This is so vague.  We can help [and we are members like you, not eBay and not the seller].  Can you please tell us why you need to return it and we will try to suggest ways to help

You need to tell us how long ago you bought it  and why you want to return it

If you have just bought it then there is the resolution centre at the bottom of the page

If there is a problem with it then it is Not as described

If you just dont want it it is a Returns request

EBay and Paypal have a system to allow faulty items to be returned for refund if they are faulty when received. They do not deal with Warranties though and -buying on line - there is no easy way to enforce anything I'm afraid
