Problems linking Paypal to Ebay

Hi,

My Ebay account links to one of my Paypal accounts, I've checked in Accounts, and the address is correct.

When I buy anything, the monies come from a different Paypal account I have, more worryingly though is that the transactions are not listed in either of my Paypal accounts, I just found out when I checked the balance on the bank account of the other Paypal account.

The only link I can see is that I am using an Iphone, and I use it for both Paypal accounts.

Any ideas?

Log into your PayPal account/s, and switch off auto-pay (which you must have selected when going through Ebay checkout at some point in the past, otherwise you'd have the option to choose your preferred PayPal account for all your purchases). Switching it off will mean you having to choose which PayPal account you want to pay with at Ebay checkout next time you buy here, and you can opt that account into auto-pay for future purchases while doing so if you wish (though it's not something I recommend, as auto-pay makes life too easy for account hackers).

I don't understand what you mean by transactions not appearing in either of your PayPal accounts. If they're not there, then you must have paid using a completely different account. Surely you know what PayPal accounts you have...?

Thank you, I’ll do that.
I found an issue in that in my account/personal details was a credit card linked to the other PayPal account, so I deleted it.
Also PayPal said that they process credit card payments on behalf of eBay with the prefix of PayPal , so although it looked like PayPal Payment’s on my account, it was actually credit card payments from eBay!
