I recently purchased a pack of AAA batteries from an eBay Seller, they did not arrive, I contacted the Seller and they gave me a Tracking Number. When I checked this, it says Delivered, but to a town (Sevenoaks, Kent) which is some 60 miles away from where I live (my Royal Mail Sorting Office is Sandwich, Kent). I contacted the Sandwich Sorting Office and they said it was umpossible for Sevenoaks SO to deliver to the Sandwich area, and if the Seller contacts Sevenoaks they will be able to tell them the address the parcel was delivered to. I contacted the Seller but they are refusing to do anything, other than keep quoting me the Tracking Number. Do I have a legitimate claim against for non-delivery?
Rather than ebay who just have idiot robots, open a Not Received Case with Paypal.
You should be able to explain to them that the delivery shown by tracking is not to your address.
Paypal do more investigating than ebay, tracking showing delivery is all they want, whether the tracking shows delivery to the correct address doesn't seem to matter.
