I paid for an item last summer, that never arrived.
The seller told me that the courier "Hermes" had posted it through my letterbox. (the item would not fit through my letterbox)
I opened a ticket and was waiting for the seller to get in touch but the time limit for the ticket ran out.
The seller is now trying to sell the same item again.
How do i report the thief to ebay ?
If you don't use, or properly use, the tools that Ebay provides, ie. read and follow clear instructions, Ebay can't help you. You let the case time out, so that's it as far as Ebay is concerned. By doing that, you effectively told them that there was no longer an issue.
You're also too late to open an Item Not Received case in PayPal, where you have 180 days from purchase date.
In other words, all you can do is learn from this, so that you don't make the same mistakes again.
