Is E Bay acting illegaly

II ordered a n Item in good faith on e Bay, but soon after I get a message from E Bay that the seller is no longer an E Bay member. So I am left high and dry by E Bay with no way of contacting the seller. Surely this is not legal under UK law REGARDS TERRY

If you never received the item you ordered then open an Item Not Received case and escalate it on the fourth day.  eBay ought to refund your money in full.

Should eBay prove to be of no use whatsoever then open an Item Not Received case via PayPal in relation to the item.  PayPal give buyers a maximum of one hundred and eighty days from the date of payment to open a case against the seller if necessary, plus they also tend to investigate cases far more thoroughly than eBay do.  Therefore, if you do end up having to go down the PayPal route in order to get your money back make sure that you escalate the case after two days but before the twenty day cut-off point.  So long as you do not allow the case to time out and escalate the case to PayPal within that timeframe you ought to receive a total refund of the money that you paid to the seller.

Have you paid/?Then open a Not Received Case with Paypal.

What is illegal about ebay removing bad sellers, when you can get a full refund? You agree to ebay's procedures when you join!!

Would you prefer that bad sellers can just continue operating with no action being taken?
