I bought some furniture during lockdown. Do you think it's now safe to drive the 40 miles to collect it? I can't find a definitive answer. Strictly speaking some people might not think it's an essential journey but then I don't consider garden centres to be essential and people are allowed to travel to visit those.

This is something you have to decide and it is also up to the seller as well. No one else is going to make decisions for you.

As I understand it so long as you are in England you can go as far as you wish.
