I purchased a job lot of jewellery on the 5th March. It was never posted so I asked for a refund from the seller but they never replied so I opened a case. On Friday morning I received an email from an eBay advisor to say they'd investigated the claim and had initiated a refund on my behalf but as yet the money hasn't been refunded. How long does it usually take to get money back when things go wrong?
Refunds go back to their original source, depending how you paid. If you paid with funds from paypal, it`s pretty much immediate, but if you paid by debit card, even through paypal, it can be upto 7 days and credit card upto 30 days.
