I bid on and won an item for a very good price, a month ago. I have tried several times to get an invoice sent, but no response whatsoever.
I realise that thnings may be difficult because of Covid19, but is there any way to push this forward with eBay? I do not want to think that the seller won't invoice me because they wanted a higher price, but sometimes I have to do things I don't want to. Please help or advise.
Why do you need an invoice ??
As long as P&P was shown on the listing then you simply click PAY NOW
Does the item actually appear in your purchase history ?? Sometimes a buyer will think they have won without realising there was a reserve & in fact their highest bid was not a winning bid
You've been an ebayer for 20 years, so you must surely know that UK sellers don't need to send you invoices. Ebay sends the invoices, or you can pay from the transaction on your Purchase History page.
So is the seller not in the UK...? If not, he obviously doesn't ship to the UK, or outside of his own country - which would explain why you can't pay - and isn't willing to make an exception for you.
You don't need an invoice, you just click on the Pay link in your My eBay>Purchase History.
If you've left it for a month you may not be able to pay now.
You don't receive an invoice.
When you win an item you are informed by eBay, then you go to your Purchase History page, and right of the item you click on the big blue PAY NOW and follow prompts to pay through Paypal.
