I have a return request in progress thanks to great advice from members here. Thanks to you all. I have just tried to check it for any progress but I can't find it anywhere.
The item is no longer listed in my Purchase History. All other items I have purchased around the same time are listed correctly. I did wonder if this may be because a return has been requested and its status is now not a Purchased Item removing it from my list. If so, where does it now sit?
I am logged in correctly as myself and if I navigate to the Resolution Centre via the link at the foot of each page it lists me as having: "No open request or cases, 0 requests or cases have been closed, No return requests are open, No payment cases are open on your sold items". That worries me!
I have always replied to eBay messages the seller has sent to me direct from the message itself, and his incoming messages are there in my account Inbox under "From eBay". My own replies have vanished, they are not in my Sent folder nor anywhere I can find.
In his message there is a [See Return Details] button. This takes me to a page which is to do with the open request titled "Return Detail" where I can see a list of his messages and my replies. It tells me that eBay will contact me if the seller communicates again. However, it worries me that there is no record of any open request and no way to navigate to this correspondence within my account and I am being told by eBay that I do not have any request in progress.
Is all of this normal and is the request progressing as it should from this info?
Open cases are usually placed right at the bottom of your 'Purchase history' page. You have to scroll right down.
Is it there?
