Contact Seller

I bought an item in October and by Christmas it had stopped working. I have contacted the seller 5 times since, informing them that the item in question no longer works, and I  have had no response from them.  There's no box to ask for a refund either.

Can anyone tell me what I do next

Neither eBay nor PayPal get involved in warranty issues.

The eBay MBG which lasts for 30 days after receipt of the item but is not a warranty and relates to the item as received.

The PayPal MBG lasts for 180 days but again is not a warranty. You can try opening a case in PayPal, but you may have difficulty convincing PayPal that the item was always faulty.

Any responsibility now rests with the seller directly.

Trading Standards or Citizens Advice may help you if the seller is a business seller.

If the seller is a private one, no warranty is implied.
