Hello,
I see that this question is common and I've read the responses which involve the seller asking for a feedback revision. Fine if the feedback is an improvement but I can hardly ask the seller to ask for a feedback revision if their attitudes and communications changed dramatically during the returns process, to decrease from positive to negative.
If I cannot get the feedback entry amended to be lower/negative, is the best route to have my comment removed all together?
Is that possible?
Thanks,
Jon
You can't remove your feedback after you have left it. The only ways that it can be changed are A) If you've left a comment which breaches eBay's rules on what can and cannot be said in feedback, B) The seller has asked eBay to remove the comment and has provided them with a justifiable reason as to why the feedback should be removed, or C) The seller sends you a feedback revision request and you agree to revise the feedback, although you cannot revise feedback downwards - ie: from positive to neutral or negative, or from neutral to negative.
In future the best option is not to leave feedback at all until the transaction has been completed in its entirety. If you wish to return an item for some reason then you should not leave any feedback at all until after the returns process has been completed, as once you have left feedback for a seller you cannot edit the feedback yourself and change it.
No, it's not possible. But you can add 'follow up' feedback. You may have to log into ebay.com to do it, though, as it often doesn't stick when done on the UK site.
Positive feedback cannot be removed and it cannot be changed to neutral or negative.
Perhaps in future wait a little longer to leave feedback.
Positive feedback can't be changed or removed.
You could add a follow up comment, but most will ignore it.
you can't change a positive to a negative, it isn't an option
you can't get it removed either,
you can add a follow up
