Buyers are unable to buy multiple items and request an invoice at the moment, Ebay admit that it's a glitch in the system at the moment and no fix available at this time.  Has been going on for weeks, come on Ebay, get yourself sorted, sellers are losing sales because of it !!!!

as you cannot see what is in a buyers basket until they either use the request total or use the buy it now on each item, or pay for it all

If BIN, you can add to basket, if auction, buyer messages seller before paying.

On one of my many "chats" with Ebay they assure me that my site is set up correctly, it's a fault in the system

They are BIN and after adding to basket and asking for invoice they see a message to say this feature is not available at the moment

when you add a BIN to your basket the seller cannot see it, so they cannot send an invoice,


the 'buyer' has to use the buy it now, but not proceed to checkout, that is the only way around the problem with ebay telling buyers you don't combine postage when buyers use the request total

it's a fault that has been going on for years,


we lose many sales because ebay tell buyers we don't combine postage or we don't send to their country, when we have worldwide postage enabled!

As I said, request combined invoice does not work, buyers need to send an ebay message.
Would be better if ebay fixed this, but they haven't.

No ebay staff here, we are fellow members.

I haven't known this to work for ages.

Buyers can add items to basket, then message you to issue combined invoice, no good using the "request combined invoice link".

They told me to manually enter all the items in message to seller. Seller still can't generate an invoice though until you've bought the items. Too late for combining postage on fifty stamps or coins!

Check something!

Go to Account tab  >>  Site preferences >>  Buyer Requirements,  scroll down to where it says you can stop mulitple buys from one buyer in ** days.  You may have inadvertently ticked that option .

It's there,   to stop some buyers buying mulitple items,  then trashing a seller's account with bad feedback.
