An item that I bought is faulty but the seller has removed the item details completely.

I bought a faulty item and I need a refund. The seller has completely removed the item. Ebay does not have the full details visivle. Also he has closed his account and so I can't get his details. I need to go to the Small Claims Court but I need the transaction details from Ebay.

Seller cannot remove item or himself from ebay, only ebay can do that.

You would do far better to open acase with paypal, so long as you are not out of time and remember it is only for condition on arrival.

You might win in the Small Claims Court but that does not mean you get any money, you cannot get blood out of a stone, and ebay would have had very good reasons to remove him.

Hi

When did you purchase the item?

You have 180 days to open a case through Paypal.     Saying that Paypal do not offer a warranty on any items.

You could try a Paypal case if its a month or so and type in the details that the seller has been removed by Ebay.
