I traded on ebay with business account until i ceased trading about 8/9 yrs ago,but kept my account open and have bought items on it over the years.

I now have some personal items i want to sell.

I know i can't swap from business to personal account and wanted to know what my best option is.Should i close down my original account and start again,or open a second ( multi) account.If i open a multi account what fees am i paying?  i don't want to pay sellers fees.(i would be selling some personal destash knitting yarn and good condition vintage lingerie)

Just start another account for private selling.    Remember to log out of this one,  clear cookies or use a different browser, then create the new account.  

It's now free for private sellers excluding vehicles.    Up to 300 items a month. You only pay a fee if you use a listing extra such as a reserve, or there's a 3% fee if sending the item outside the UK.

For personal used unwanted items worth opening a new Private Account,  here there are no seller fees to pay only listing fees if you select optional listing upgrades or wish to promote your items.

You can have more than one account,  it just needs another email address, and another username ID.
