What happened to 'quantity availible' visible on listings pages?

If you were selling several of an identical item the number available used to appear on the main listings pages as 'x available'. This has disappeared and only appears when it is the last one.

Many sellers are selling for example 6 porcelain trios but this isn't visible until you click on the listing.

When did it disappear?

In the Site Preferences at https://www.ebay.co.uk/uas/selling-pref, do you have the 'Buyers can see exactly how many items are left' option set to 'Yes'?

This item of yours has a similar problem. You have 5 available in the listing but it doesn't show that info on the listing page. It used to be there but has vanished. I've changed the pref you mentioned although I'm not sure what it will change re visibility.

I think there's an issue with the Quantity Available function. 

My Site Preferences flag has always been set to NOT show the exact quantity remaining.  However, when I originally set up the Preferences, I think the option description was slightly different - it was an option to show the exact quantity if there were more than 10 remaining.  If the flag was set to not show the quantity, then the listing stated 'More than 10 available'.

I've looked at a listing today and, if I change the quantity to 100, the listing states that there are 100 available.  As my Site Preferences flag is set to NOT show the exact quantity, it should state 'More than 10 available'.

I guess eBay has been meddling with the quantity available function, changing it to show the exact quantity available irrespective of the Site Preferences flag setting.  Maybe this was when the quantity available disappeared from the main listings page.  I don't know, because I would never have expected to see the exact quantity quoted on the main listings page because my listings generally have more than 10 available. 

It's not an issue that the exact quantity remaining shows on the listing.  However, when I set a flag to NOT show certain data, I expect the app to respect this decision - but, hey, this is eBay, infested with bugs.

The issue for me is I'm selling 6 identical trios listed as singles, as are many other sellers. Anyone looking for a set of 6 will skip over my listings thinking I only have one. Also I have 4 identical stained glass panels that someone could use to repair an antique lantern. I've had to use valuable title space to add ' 4 available'. 

Just wish they'd stop tinkering with stuff that wasn't broken in the first place.

They’ve been tinkering, a few of mine have said last one. Even though more were added previously.
