How dare eBay allow other sellers to place an advert in my listing, see image. What are they thinking allowing this?

They do it to everyone's listings, it's not just you

Coff , Coff.
Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing.

eBay probably state that it doesn't form part of the listing that the seller assumes responsibility for...

Really bad practice from eBay.

"Really bad practice from eBay." - more like desperation. I am now seeing ad banners appearing on the listing page in the last couple of days. A real pain in the ar*e when you have a low broadband speed and the page is jumping all over the place as they load whilst you are trying to create a listing.

The whole site runs slow, to be honest it's by far the worst site i ever see online.

Yes i agree with all of you. It looks a mess and more annoying is when a private 'business' seller has a similar promoted item for a lower price and it is sandwiched between your listing pictures and your listing description. What on earth is that going to do? Ebay are giving their own profits away by doing that.
I would hate to try and look for anything on here with a mobile phone, with all the sponsered ad's everywhere eating all your mobile data.
Ebay needs to streamline things urgently. Only proper business sellers should be allowed to promote and the promotions should be at the end of all the listing details if they must put them on our listing pages. If Ebay stopped allowing private business sellers to promote they would soon upgrade their accounts and become a paying business.
This site used to be so good, its so sad to see it looking such a mess and it being so hard to find anything anymore. The filters don't even work properly anymore and many listings are removed when you sort by high to low and low to high.
