RM / eBay tracking is horribly broken. Reporting delivered when I only posted today.

Sold about 20 items over the weekend. 

RM collected all the items today and RM tracking says:

COLLECTED: Today at 3:10pm

However looking at the status of all the  items under my selling portal they all say delivered today. 

Delivered on 27 May

Great. Your order was delivered.

So according to eBay, dispatched today, delivered today. 

I now have all my buyers messaging me to say they received a mail from eBay saying the item has been delivered. 

What game are eBay playing at now??!

Anyone else seeing these issues?

Majority of items I have dispatched have been tracked, but a few have no tracking what so ever?

I've had this problem before, when the postie picking up the parcels scanned them as "delivered" instead of "collected"...

The tracking should update the next time they're scanned along their journey.

I have sent one item via Royal Mail Tracked 48 today and both RM's website and eBay correctly updated within minutes of the item being collected. I should point out the postage was purchased via RM's (retail) website.

Are you both using RM account mail services?

Thanks. I spoke to postie today and I think he incorrectly scanned as delivered. 

I've mailed all my buyers to say the items are still on the way. 

I think the initial scan of delivered triggers eBay to say it's been delivered but then it gets scanned again at the delivery office it goes back to collected/sorted etc. eBay still reflects as delivered.
