No more Weekly Chat with the eBay Community Team

Why have have Ebay stopped doing weekly chats with Ebay members? It says on the final chat on 20th May that they are switching to something different "based on the feedback we received from the community". I always found this service useful in this format. What changes did the community want?

No one knows what the new format will be or contain.

I think it’s because it was pretty useless.

Marco, Dave and Kate were being asked to consider broadly the same issues every week but no doubt due to corporate politics nothing was ever getting fixed.

Recurring problems:

What can be done about businesses selling on private accounts, avoiding fees, breaking the law and under-cutting legit business sellers - Nothing.

Why does eBay insist on applying age-verification to several items that legally don’t require it? 
Why does eBay allow Royal Mail age verification to be a selling option when Royal Mail no longer offer it to the general public.

Why are there so many sellers offering lithium batteries for sale when the named couriers prohibit these items.

 

Etc., Etc., Etc.
