Hi all,

just a quick introduction from me to this community.

My name is Dave Holland, and I’m selling original photographic art.  It seems to me that my market ( now that I’ve taken the plunge) is going to be other sellers rather than the public.

Welcome to taking the plunge for eBay selling,  wishing you Happy Selling!

However,  if you wish to continue to sell all Brand New items,  you are trading under the wrong eBay account.

Currently you are using a Private account which is one for selling all used unwanted items,  such as a wardrobe / attic/ garage clear out.  Selling all Brand New items,  you need to change yours to a Business account.

Below shows you the process,  and preferably use a laptop / PC not the app or mobile browser to do this,  Chrome works well with eBay.

1. Go to Account settings in My eBay.
2. Select Personal information. 
3. Select Edit next to Account type. You may be asked to sign in again.
4. Select Confirm to upgrade to a Business account.
5. Specify whether you operate your business as a legal entity or as a sole proprietor and select Continue.
6. On the following page, enter your business information such as name, contact information, and returns policy. Then select Save.
