Import tax ( nova)

I have bought a new motor cycle from a eBay buisness seller and I wish to register for the road , they won’t tell me if the import tax  has been paid  as it has come from China , I need that  proof to submit to HMRC and then progress to DVLA very frustrating . John

You have just found one of the reasons why you need to do a little research into who it is you're buying from.

Why don't you use/create another ebay account & ask a few questions as if you're about to make a purchase???

If its on NOVA, HMRC will know  already. Phone HMRC and ask them for the NOVA number. If it's not on NOVA it hadn't been declared.
