We are fast approaching December and the added GPSR compliance is looming.
I have looked through it all and I have a problem: I sell hand made dolls house miniatures. These are NOT toys, they are adult collectables.
The only place to list them is in the Ebay supplied catogories of dolls house miniatures (which comes under dolls and bears) so due to this they would need to comply with GPSR yet they are for over 16's only.
Unless Ebay adds another catogory to collectables specifically for dolls house miniatures I am stumped as of what to do!
Any help on this subject would be really appreciated, especially form other miniature makers and sellers.

I had a peek at your items and they are absolutely wonderful! You have a lot of talent and patience.
Regarding GSPR, a lot of sellers, including myself are going to stop selling to Europe and NI. Very sad to break the ties with these countries but there doesn't seem to be an easier option.

Everything that isn't explicitly exempted from the GPSRs needs to comply; it isn't just products that require CE marking. However, I can see the potential problem if eBay classifies your items as toys as they'll be asking for EN71 compliance documents - has eBay asked you for these?
I'm actually struggling with eBay's category structure when it comes to the "Collectables & Art" category. Following the breadcrumb trail back from "Doll's Miniatures & Houses" there doesn't seem to be a "Dolls & Bears" sub-category under the "Collectables & Art" parent category. I even tried "Collectables & Art -> "Toys & games" but couldn't find it there. Is the "Dolls & Bears" category you are using a subcategory of any "Toys & games" category?

I have had a long conversation with Ebay on their chat, actually spoke to someone (typed to a real person)
As for dolls house miniatures they have clarified that because what I make being one of a kind collectable items that they do NOT need to comply with the GPSR.
Heres an extract from the chat to clarify :
So if it is a unique one of a kind item is that classed as a collectors item with regard to the new compliance?
That is correct.

It would be helpful if there was a category for collectable dolls, miniatures.
The sub category is from Dolls & Bears.

The problem with that is that you could ask again and get a completely different answer.

Something to remember about eBay's customer service reps is they're often wrong. Only goods that are explicitly exempted in Annex IX of Directive 2006/112/EC are exempt from the regulations. Your items would not be exempt under the collectors' items clause; I'm not sure they would even be exempt under the works of art clause. For example; if you're hand-painting manufactured items they are not exempt. Also, if you're using your own cast or a mould to produce your items there is a limit of 8 items that can be produced per cast/mould.
Have you ever filled out a CN22 customs form for any of your items? If you have, what commodity code did you enter in the HS tariff box?
Something else to remember is when eBay are forced to comply with regulations they often over-comply with them. Even if your items are exempt eBay will likely leave the burden of proof with you even if the document(s) they request to "prove" your exemption don't actually exist.

The thing is I can't find the "Dolls & Bears" subcategory unless I view a listing that is in that category or one of it's subcategories. Following the breadcrumb trail back to "Collectables and Art" there is no "Dolls & Bears" subcategory. It probably isn't important - if it was a subcategory of a "Toys & Games" category I'm fairly certain eBay would have insisted on compliance documents by now.
