Automated Feedback

So come on guys and girls lets chat automated feedback.

I say it's a good idea because everyone is fed up with being asked for feedback. No matter what you do or buy, you are constantly asked.

My problem as a business seller is that Ebay don't take in to consideration automated feedback as genuine feedback against your seller rating. Get negative from a buyer  and you will find a reduction against your positive feedback. Regardless of the automatic positive ratings?

Tell me why this is fair?

Yeah great idea automatic. Does it not count for that? That's ridiculous. Bet it doesn't count for cases either then, so it's pointless basically.

Automated feedback is included in the positive feedback numbers so will reduce the effect of any negatives left.  Not sure if automated feedback is included in the overall feedback score but that doesn't really make a great deal of difference.

It is included in the overall feedback score. From what I'm seeing fewer buyers are giving feedback, leaving it to ebay's automated system. Since it's come in I've had one buyer change the automated feedback to their own comment. 

What it is effectively killing off are the stars. If buyers are leaving feedback to automation nobody will be giving star ratings.
