Charity shop find for £2 today, like new in condition -

 

Follow The Roar USA HB 1st 2008 by Bob Smiley.

Thought I had found a 2nd, but upon closer inspection at home this evening it turned out to have very good printed signature. No loss as Kelly wants to read it, so £1 well spent on the 2nd book after all. I'll include a pic in case anyone else sees it around, and you'll know it is printed, not real -

One charity shop find today. 
 
William Pitt The Younger HB 1st 2004 by William Hague for £2.99. 
 
I have found one of these before which was signed/dedicated, and I sold it after reading it. This is like new and not dedicated, so I will keep this in my collection as it is a good book.

I also spotted a signed Britt Ekland Sensual Beauty softcover in one charity shop, but they are asking £40 for it!!! Britt does sign ttm, and you can readily find signed items on eBay. I think they missed the mark with this price, even if for a good cause.

As for Britt ekland, that is expensive. I missed her in Panto last year after wanting to send to her, so glad she is here again this year. I won't forget to write to her this year!!!

I was in a charity shop today and found a Delia Smith signed book.  Got it for £2.95

But I'm not sure how to put the photo on the forum can some help

William Hague is a good find. No way I'd pay that much for Britt Eckland though.

Trawled around 3 charity sops today, bought 4 signed books for less than a fiver..I'll add one now and the others over the week end as it gets quiet, One of them is a gem of a find.

First one is a soft backed edition of Philip Beck's book "The Burning of Saint Malo" bought from the 50p shelf in the Sence charity shop. The inscription says " For D.J Davidson with the best wishes of the author, Philip Beck"
