Wonder reply

It has been very slow on the TTM front - I have not sent anything out in a while as I’ve been too busy. Today I had a reply from Wonder Woman - the lovely Lynda Carter. She only returned 1 of the 2 cards I sent, but I’m happy with the card she chose. I have read on Autograph sites (such as isitreal.com) that people think that most of her TTM's are secretarials – mainly to do with Lynda not signing the ‘a’ when in person, but looking at the examples I think that could be from rushed sigs, as the rest of the signatures look the same. I sent this VV in Connecticut and it is postmarked 2 days after the event from the same state – looks good to me.

Re: Wonder reply

There were genuine replies from her when she appeared in Chicago in the UK back in 2005.

Re: Wonder reply

I've looked at the isitreal page Nigel and to be honest I don't see that much difference between the 'secs' and the ‘genuines’ (although you can see some of the IP’s are rushed). It's interesting - apparently Lynda has been made aware of the page and states that she signs all TTM herself

Re: Wonder reply

I favour genuine with yours Rob. Knowing she has signed well via venue helps, but I also found an example sold by a trusted dealer that matches yours well.

As an aside. My problem with any statement denouncing secretarials is that hardly anyone is going to admit to it, yet we all know it happens. Many do sign everything themselves, but many do not. Even lesser known stars do not always sign their own fanmail.
