My post concerns still exist - my package today had been opened, and taped back down, plus had unmarked stamps again.

I am actually on for my worst ever month in 12 years of ttm collecting. My previous worst was Feb 2010 when I had only 8 replies that month. I have only had 6 replies so far this month, despite over 20 requests going out in the last 3 weeks, plus a few hundred older requests still out there.

Nemanja Vidic - 2 days c/o OT

I picked up a bio about him a year ago in Poundland, but someone else had a failure with it back then as it is not official. As such, I sat on it, and  decided to try at the end of this season. As half expected, he would not sign it, but I did get a signed club card which breaks my United club card cherry. Quite happy with that as he is a great defender and leader on the pitch.

nice success with vidic nigel, do you not have a relative close by,who you can address your requests too?i went through a similar experience earlier in the year,when i started using my mothers address,the replies started coming in again

You have some real worries with the post. It's worth trying a different addy to take deliveries but this kind of thing shouldn't be happening.

Nice club card but shame the book wasn't signed.I would either send your mail to another address or send something to yourself and see if you get it back.

nice reply nigel, it was me who had the earlier biog failure, i bought my book from poundland also, guess its because its unofficial, congrats on the cc, i love vidic- superb defender

Thanks all. We are quite isolated, and have no family nearby who could help with postal deliveries. I have a few ideas to try though which may help catch or prevent anyone who might be getting to my post. Will be trying these over the next few weeks.

I have given the book, along with some others to a charity shop.

#3 Alex - no plans to collect them. If some come my way I will gladly receive them as I think they are cool, but have too many collecting themes as it is.

#11 Carl - I remembered the failure, but could not remember who it was. 🙂 My guess is it is more to do with him not wanting that song chant that is printed inside the book on oneof the title pages associated with him. Berbatov had no problem signing his unofficial bio for me. Agreed about what a super player he is - one of my modern faves.
