Three recent Doctor Who requests back today.
Fred Pearson - 22 days
Fred kindly signed the 4x6 photo and record card I sent plus sent a signed note.
Michael Dixon - 16 days
Michael kindly signed the 4x6 photo and record card I sent
Josh O'Connor - 9 days
Josh kindly signed the 4x6 photo and record card I sent.
My purchase was #495 in my official signed EastEnders card collection. I have lost two unsigned cards trying to write to this person over the years, and never managed a ttm reply from her. It was one of two cards I was watching, but the 2nd one went way too high. This one cost £9.06 as it is, and the one I passed on (Paul Nicholls) finished at £34.09 today. It seems to be getting competitive again for older signed cards. I am hoping this leads to more people listing their collections.

3 nice addtions to your Dr Who collection and a nice EE buy.
I've been watching loads of EE cards lately but refuse to get drawn in once the prices start going up (not sure how long my will power can hold out though as its getting harder and harder to find cheap ones that I need)

Great Doctor Who replies and well done adding to your Eastenders collection.
As Greg says I've noticed in my short time bidding on the Eastenders castcards how much some of the older cast are going for,and when I saw the Paul Nicholls card it was around £12 then so £34 is unbelievable.I'm picking up the cheaper cards at the moment for £1-£3 and concentrating on some of the cast who've left the show.(Until I end up getting drawn in on the high prices)

Thanks all. Yep, prices are starting to go up again with signed official EE cards. First time in a while. Definitely more people collecting them. Having said that, the prices are nowhere near their peak back in 2007. The Paul Nicholls would have sold for £100 plus back then. I sold about 15 scarce cards for between £100 and £150 during my house move sale then, and a lot over £40. One of them was Paul's other card.
It is good though. It will tempt more people into selling their collections which will help fill gaps in collections.

Excellent replies for the DW collection, Nigel. The prices for the EE cards are quite incredible so, it's good to see you pick up a rarity for a reasonable price.
