Walker Stalker 2018 - With the direction prices are going I'm pretty sure this will be my last Walker Stalker so I was thrilled when I was lucky enough to get a photoshoot for Andrew Lincoln. I only had a Sunday GA pass originally so I purchased a weekend VIP as soon as got the shoot, only to find out the night before the con that Andrew couldn't make it.
My initially disappointment led to even more disappointment when I realised I had paid for a VIP ticket I now didn't need but how wrong was I. Without the weekend VIP I would have had one mad stressful Sunday but with it I was able to enjoy 2 shorter days, both very relaxed where I was able to get everything I wanted without any fuss, so in the end getting the Andy photoshoot was still a blessing even though he cancelled.
I got all three of the autographs and selfies I wanted (Austin, Pollyanna and Katelyn)in the first hour or so I was there on the Saturday and the only one I had to que for was Pollyanna. The rest of the morning I watched a couple of panels and left at 1pm.
On the Sunday I had three photoshoots booked, Melissa McBride, Laurie Holden and Eliza Taylor (form The 100, not Walking Dead) but because they were spaced out I had to do a longer day so was able to see a few more panels than I would normally watch, the pick of which was the Sons Of Anarchy panel which was absolutely hilarious and really made me want to go and meet the guys but I had spent my budget by then. The only other person I met on the Sunday was David Morrisey who I just met for a selfie and I have his autograph already. I also, cheekily went back and had another photo with Katelyn for free as I really wasn't happy with how badly my Saturday one came out.
All in all an enjoyable weekend but very expensive. Sorry for the long post

Glad it worked out better than expected, Greg. Some lovely photos and good additions to the autograph collection.
These events are getting expensive, aren't they? The smaller conventions seem to be attracting some really good names and it's a lot less stressful.

I've only just started attending conventions this last twelve months - everybody I speak too while I'm out and about tell me how expensive Walking Dead actors are, and how this is driving the rest of the market price up
You have probably seen but Wales Comic Con in April has a couple of good TWD actors - Alanna Masterson, Alex Breckenridge, Ross Marquand and Seth Gilliam .... looks like a great lineup particularly when you see Val Kilmer and Sean Astin listed too
Love the autographs though - particularly the Amelio

cheers Mal. I'm very temped on the Wales show but after the money I spent this weekend not sure if it's gonna be viable. Looks a pretty goodline up though and certainly much better prices than WS

Glad you had a good weekend in the end Greg. Looks like I am going to Em-Con this year to feed by Buffy fascination with Emma Caulfield and Nicholas Brendon there. My first such event!
