I sent to BEN JOHNSON in Canada it took about three months BUT VERY pleased people might remember him in the Olympic running against CARL LEWIS and LINFORD CHRISTIE Carl Lewis was the favourite but BEN JOHNSO out ran them both to become the fastest man on the earth but with in a day he was sent home after failing a drugs test he served his sentence but on coming back failed a second drugs test sinc then the athletics world turned there back on him

A very interesting success and one that brings about a moral debate - where do we stand on signers who disgraced a sport or event ?
I vividly remember the final ... I remember being blown away by the way he dominated the race ... then I remember being equally blown away that he cheated
I understand adding the autograph as his moment in Olympic history is huge, but I really feel strongly about his cheating costing Lewis and Christie their rightful places on that podium
I feel the same about a lot of the Russian atheletes from 2012. They have deprived honest athletes from a place on a podium that their hard work has deserved ... how can being given a medal in a car park 6 years later compensate for missing that moment during the games
I think I would probably look to add Ben Johnson despite that because his place in Olympic history is there forever ... but hopefully an interesting discussion

It's a great reply, Richard. More infamous than famous.
